About Turner Wall.

At the risk of sounding cliched, becoming an architect and starting the practice was the realisation of a lifelong ambition. After growing up in Derbyshire, I went to live and study in Newcastle for a number of years before returning to Nottingham University to complete my qualifications and take up work within the world of architecture and planning. Initially working on large community and infrastructure projects provided with the perfect grounding in how big developments are delivered from inception to completion. In the years that followed I was able to be a part of delivering award winning smaller residential projects, meeting many wonderful clients and professionals that have become good friends. I’m now settled in Derbyshire and specialise in creating bespoke residential designs across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.

There are lots of things to love about being an architect and running the practice, but first and foremost it’s great meeting new clients and becoming part of their ambition to create their “forever home”. It’s always fun during that initial meeting with clients where there are loads of ideas flying about, but it’s all taken on board, no matter how crazy it seems! After that it’s about refinement and distilling ideas into something special.

When I’m not running the practice or leafing through all my architecture magazine subscriptions (too many!), I’m in the garden trying to get my tomatoes to grow or down at the local cricket club with family and friends.
